This scarf is pretty, easy and fast. It only took me 2 evenings (while watching TV!).
It is basically all V-Stitches!
Make the starting chain as long as you would like the width of your scarf to be. Keep in mind should be a multiple of 3 + 2 (3 per V-Stitch and 1 each end for turning).
Row 1. ch 3. from the 4th chain 1 dc in each chain. turn
Row 2. ch 3. skip 1. *dc - ch - dc (V-stitch) in next stitch. skip 2 stitches. Repeat from * until end. Skip the last dc and dc into top of turning chain. turn
Row 3. ch 3. V-stitch into center of each previous V-stitch. dc into top of turning chain. turn
Repeat Row 3. until you have the your desired length. Remember that it will stretch little once blocked.
last Row. ch 3. dc into all stitches (3 per V-stitch). dc into top of turning chain. Cut and weave in the ends.
I made two scarfs with this pattern. On the second one I skipped the 1st and the last Rows (the all dc rows).
All that is left is to block. I block mine the same way I block my blankets. Click HERE to see how I do it!
